Board of Catholic Education

The Saint Thomas Board of Catholic Education is responsible for the implementation of policies from the Diocesan Board of Education and Department of Catholic Education. The members of the Board, the Pastor (ex-officio), the principal (ex-officio), and the nine elected representatives from the parish are responsible for planning and overseeing all educational programs of the parish. The Youth Education Committee of the Board includes the Saint Thomas Parish School (kindergarten through eighth grade), Summer Bible School Program, Parish Pre-School Programs, the P.R.E.P. Program and the Youth Group. The Adult Education Committee coordinates programs and activities aimed at spiritually nourishing the adult members of Saint Thomas Parish. The Outreach/Development Committee works to enhance and promote the school as well as to facilitate connections between the school and members of the parish and the larger community.
