Cub Scouts (Pack 70)
Character development extends to every aspect of Cub Scouting. Twelve core values (citizenship, compassion, cooperation, courage, faith, health/fitness, honesty, perseverance, positive attitude, resourceful, respect, and responsibility) are stressed throughout the Cub Scout program, which includes service, ceremonies, games, skits, songs, crafts, and many other activities enjoyed at den and pack meetings. This program begins in the first grade where a scout and his partner work to earn Tiger Rank. In the grades to follow, the scout progressively works to achieve Wolf (2nd grade), Bear (3rd grade), and Webelo (4th and 5th grades) rank.
Individual den meetings vary year-to-year and den-to-den. Monthly pack meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month. This meeting for the scout and his family provides an opportunity for the dens to highlight their crafts and activities and a time for the Pack to recognize individual accomplishments.
General registration is held at the beginning of each school year. Additional information can be obtained by using the contact information below.
