Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion consist of volunteer men and women from the parish who regularly attend Sunday Mass and are Confirmed. They help with the distribution of the Holy Eucharist during all Sunday and Holyday Masses. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are needed for each Mass and also to distribute the Holy Eucharist at the VA Hospital, Highlands of Fort Thomas Health Care and Rehabilitation Center and the Barrington Retirement Center, every Tuesday and Thursday, to an average of 40 people each visit.
