Little Portion Fraternity is the name of the local group that is part of the larger family network of Lay Franciscans. This is a genuine, worldwide Lay Religious Order of the Church. The purpose is to follow the Franciscan Rule, which is based on the gospels of Jesus Christ.

Secular Franciscan Order is the same as the “Third Order of Saint Francis”. It is comprised of any layperson in good standing in the Catholic Church, either married or single, over the age of 18, or any secular priest.
