The Pro-Life Coordinator of the parish works with the pastor and Parish Council to keep the parish informed of activities sponsored by the diocese. Many of these activities take place during October, designated as Pro-Life Month, and around January 22, the anniversary of the Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion.

Communicating the pro-life message is the most important job of the Pro-Life Coordinator. A telephone chain is also utilized to alert people when action is needed on a particular pro-lifee issue and in asking their help in support of human life through letter writting, phone calls, and prayer.

All parishioners are most welcome and need to get involved. Meetings are called when necessary and notices of meetings are published in the bulletin.

Any woman in need of emotional support or counseling concerning a present or past pregnancy should call the Parish Pro-Life Coordinator and confidential counseling will be arranged.
